Sloppy? Average? Ooooooooooooooooooh. I like this show better than the previous night, at the very least, and I think the raunchy, hard-rockin' playin' of this night rivals shows like....6/27 SPAC! - which has more slop, although I hate to even call it that. In any case, I give this show the most underrated of June '85 rating! Thanks for the review.

Nice to see someone taking on the 85 tour! I actually like this show a lot. I had a nice crispy soundboard of it that sounded great in my car.

This was one of those tapes that happened to be playing when one of those "life changing events" went down. I was driving my girfriend to her house for the first time after here father had just passed away. The second set of the tape was in for that drive. It was a heavy drive but for some reason this tape was a nice partner on that trip. The Brokedown Palace was playing when we pulled up to the house. It didn't dawn on me at the time, but like I said it was just one of those tapes that held a special place for me.

I want to say that I recieved a bunch of these Summer 85 shows at the same time through trades. They were nice sounboards which were always welcome back then. I think because of that, that is why they were in heavy rotation. We weren't as picky about the music back then as we are now. They sounded good so they were played and traded a bunch.

Yeah ! You are so right on both counts – acquiring a soundboard back then, and the pickiness - having so much access today makes it easy.

After leaving Berkeley we didn’t have long to wait for another Keep On Growing. Loved when Phil and Brent sang a song together.
